5th Grade Weekly Hebrew Newsletter. (week 15)
Dear Parents and Students,
Last Friday, as a Siyum to our fruit and vegetables unit, we used our newly gained vocabulary, and made a salad in Hebrew. The students learned in advance relevant sentences and key words, and all the communication while preparing the salad was done in Hebrew: asking for specific fruits, for a cutting board, explain what they are doing, etc.
A big and special Thank You goes to Mrs. Yael Levi, who washes the vegetables, prepared the tables, communicated with the students in Hebrew, and took great pictures.
Another big Thank You goes to Moreh David, our support and enrichment teacher, who helped us make these yummy salads. תודה רבה!

This week we also started practicing our “Sichot”, (Hebrew conversations skits), for the Chanukah performance, and continued to read our book
"איך נפתור השנה בעיות בכיתה This book offers problem solving skills, and promotes tolerance toward others.
